Linda Lee McGilton
Linda Lee McGilton, 79, of Greensboro, passed away at 9:55 a.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
She was born August 3, 1944, in Morgantown, W.Va., a daughter of the late Alva and Isabella White.
Linda was a member of the Mount Morris Gospel Tabernacle Assembly of God.
She loved crossword puzzles, spending time with her friends and taking care of her family.
She was a homemaker. Her husband, Jesse McGilton, Sr. whom she married on June 10, 1959, died January 28, 2008.
Surviving are her daughter, Christina and husband, Garrett Brown of Greensboro; four sons: Michael and wife, Luci McGilton of Queen Creek, Ariz., David McGilton of Waynesburg, Thomas McGilton of Waynesburg and Patrick and wife, Carla McGilton of Gastonia, N.C.; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Jesse McGilton, Jr.; one half-sister and one half-brother.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., 324 Mt. Morris Road, P.O. Box 478, Mt. Morris, PA 15349, Shane M. Ayers, Director, where services were held on Thursday, August 31, 2023, with Pastor Joseph Adams officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mt. Morris, PA 15349.
