Betty Sue Shultz
Betty Sue Shultz, 55, of Waynesburg, died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 24, 2023, in The Washington Hospital in Washington, after a hard fought battle with COPD for several years. She was born November 8, 1967, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late John Shultz and Alice Joanna Skiles Shultz.
She was a lifelong resident of Greene County. She loved getting on Facebook and keeping in touch with people, but she really loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Betty worked in the dietary department at Rolling Meadows Nursing Home for several years.
Her husband, Roger Yeager, survives.
Also surviving are one son, Brian (Danielle) Yeager of Jefferson; three grandchildren, Hunter, Tanner and Brooklyn Yeager; two sisters, Margaret Shultz of Waynesburg, and Thelma Conaway of Waynesburg; one brother, John Shultz of Carmichaels; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends were received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 29, in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., 197 N. Maiden Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370, Shane M. Ayers, director, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 30, with Pastor Cathie Carpenter officiating.
