Dickey’s Barbeque Pit opens in Waynesburg
The Greene County Chamber of Commerce recently hosted an official ribbon cutting ceremony for a new business, Dickey’s Barbeque Pit, in Greene Plaza.
Family, friends and local dignitaries gathered to share in the celebration as owners, Joe and Cindy Yorio, officially cut the ribbon on their new eatery located at 130 Greene Plaza in Waynesburg on Feb. 24. The day actually marked the six-month anniversary of the official opening.
The event featured remarks from several speakers, including Greene County Commissioners Mike Belding, Betsy Rohanna McClure and Blair Zimmerman; Waynesburg Mayor Greg Leathers; Greene County Chamber of Commerce Director Melody Longstreth, Waynesburg Prosperous and Beautiful’s Bridget Vilenica, and the Yorios.
The menu features “Legit Texas Barbecue,” and catering is also available.
Following the speakers and the ribbon cutting, guests were treated to Dickey’s barbecue and numerous side dishes.
