Connie L. Loughman
Connie L. Loughman, 82, of Sycamore, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023, in Concordia Hospice of Washington in Washington, after a short illness.
Connie was born in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late William Blair Lahew and Gertrude Alice Cox Lahew.
Connie attended West Union Presbyterian Church. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, and a former member of the Greene County Historical Society.
She worked at Fisher Big Wheel in Waynesburg and later worked as a receiver for Walmart. She also worked with Vista and Community Action, working with the homeless.
Her husband, David L. Loughman, whom she married September 22, 1959, died December 19, 2021.
Surviving are two daughters, Belynda Beatty of Claysville, and Marci (Emerson) Snee of Waynesburg; one son, Samuel David Loughman of Waynesburg; six grandchildren; two brothers, Stanley Lahew of Cameron, W.Va., and Jeffrey Lahew of Waynesburg; one sister, Pam Clark of Holbrook; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are one grandson, Charles Beatty; two sisters, T.C. Mankey and JoAnne Medlick; and one brother, Jack Lahew.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation or services. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
