Former Waynesburg resident pleads guilty to transporting minor across state lines
A former resident of Waynesburg pleaded guilty in federal court to a charge of transportation of a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity on Wednesday.
James Jordan, 31, allegedly transported a minor from Pennsylvania to West Virginia on Jan. 11, 2022 to engage in sexual activity, prosecutors said.
He will be sentenced in the case on Feb. 21 at 1:30 p.m. He faces a minimum of 10 years and up to life in prison. Jordan remains in federal prison pending his sentence.
