And they’re off! The young and young at heart get ready to race into the field at the Greene County Airport on Saturday morning, eager to collect some of the 50,000 eggs dropped by a helicopter.
Egg-cited youngsters searched for Easter goodies after a helicopter dropped 50,000 plastic eggs at the Greene County Airport on Saturday.
Despite the chilly weather – many were bundled up in hats and gloves – children came armed with baskets to gather up as many of the plastic eggs as they could.
Ten churches and S.O.A.R. in Greene County sponsored the annual event, which also included other family-oriented activities.
