The award-winning Southern gospel group Steel City Quartet will appear in concert at the Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 2137 Dinner Bell/Five Forks Road, Farmington, at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Over the past decades, the Steel City Quartet has gained a reputation for being one of the most inspirational and dynamic Southern gospel groups to perform in the tri-state area, although their popularity has spread beyond the boundaries of Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia.

The Steel City Quartet provides wholesome comic relief while sharing the Gospel message through music and song.

Members include tenor John “Legs” Lawrenzi, baritone Ron Pry, lead singer Timothy Charles Cousino and bass Glenn Crawford.

Lawrenzi said, “Our mission is simple. We bring the message of the ‘Good News’ by singing uplifting and inspirational songs that show how GodĢƵ love can touch anyoneĢƵ heart and change lives forever. We sing because we love the Lord and Savior. And the best way to experience our music is to come out and join us at our live concerts. I know you’ll enjoy it. We always have a good time.”
