Men to stand trial in assault

Two Fayette County men who police allege assaulted another man inside an apartment building in Vanderbilt on Thursday will stand trial.

Michael Eugene Teets and Nathan Bernard Able, both of Vanderbilt, were each charged before Magisterial District Judge Joseph M. George Jr. with aggravated assault, criminal conspiracy to commit aggravated assault, simple assault, criminal mischief, harassment and disorderly conduct.

Both men waived all charges against them to Fayette County Court during a preliminary hearing on Tuesday before Magisterial District Judge Dwight K. Shaner.
