By Josh Krysak jkrysak@heraldstandard.Com 1 min read

A Uniontown man who police allege he assaulted a Uniontown Hospital police officer during a domestic dispute at the hospital on March 25 will stand trial.

Justin M. Jellots, 29, was charged with aggravated assault of a police officer, simple assault, resisting arrest, harassment, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness following the incident, Uniontown police said.

Prosecutors withdrew the aggravated assault charge against Jellots, who then waived the remaining charges to Fayette County Court during a preliminary hearing today before Magisterial District Judge Michael M. Metros.
