Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania customers may see higher natural gas heating bills this winter because of a base rate adjustment approved by the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. An article in the Dec. 12 paper contained incorrect information. In addition, the company converted to billing by therms, a measurement of the amount of energy provided by natural gas consumed per month, in January 2012 from a cubic foot measurement of the gas consumed. The article did not note the change in billing. The Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ apologizes for the error.
