Uniontown man charged in assault and robbery
A Uniontown man is facing multiple charges after police allege he assaulted and robbed a man while walking near Bailey Park Monday afternoon.
Solomon Stevens, 18, was charged before Magisterial District Judge Michael M. Metros with robbery, simple assault, theft and receiving stolen property.
Officer Eric Hanula said the incident occurred shortly after 4 p.m. near Pennsylvania Avenue.
