Clarification
An article published Tuesday incorrectly cited the reasoning behind three Brownsville Area School Board members voting against the district superintendent’s new contract. Board members Cheryl Terravecchia, Andy Assad and Ros Gammon IV said they weren’t simply against the length of Dr. Philip Savini’s contract, as board President Rocky Brashear stated, but that they were opposed to the new agreement for various other reasons. Savini was granted a new four-year contract by a 6-3 vote.
