Autopsy planned in death of mugging victim
An elderly Fayette County woman who was injured in an alleged mugging in South Union Township early this year has died.
Sources confirmed that Mary Yourchik 82, of North Union Township, died today, eight months after police say she was beaten and robbed.
Yourchik suffered injuries in the mugging that police allege was committed by sisters Brittany Joyce Boyd, 24, and Jenna Shay Boyd, 26, both of 303 Easter St., North Union Township on March 22 outside Walmart Supercenter.
The sisters are charged with conspiring to assault and rob Yourchik as she was exiting the store.
