Uniontown man nabbed in string of burglaries

By Josh Krysak jkrysak@heraldstandard.Com 1 min read

A Uniontown man is facing multiple charges after police say he broke into four homes in the city – three of which he entered by forcing through air conditioner units – and stole items ranging from jewelry to medication.

Donald Robert Dugan III, 29, of 54 W. Craig St. was charged with four counts each of burglary, theft and receiving stolen property and two counts of illegal drug possession following the burglaries in June and July.

Uniontown police Lt. Thomas Kolencik said Dugan admitted to committing the burglaries and then showed officers which homes he had broken into and discussed what items he had stolen.
