Clarification and correction
An article published Monday about a recent Brownsville Borough Council meeting should have stated that borough resident Connie Gore said she hopes the public is informed of another meeting with the Fayette County Redevelopment Authority.
California police said five men are facing charges after members of two fraternities at California University of Pennsylvania — Acacia House and Theta Xi House — got into an altercation on Shutterly Avenue on Friday night. Police said they also seized drug paraphernalia from one a residence on Shuttlerly Avenue during the incident. A report published Tuesday incorrectly identified where the drug paraphernalia was seized.
