Sister Mary Philip Aaron Applause
Sister Mary Philip Aaron is celebrating her 65th anniversary as a member of the Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill.
A native of McKees Rocks, she entered the order on September 8, 1950, from Nativity Roman Catholic Church in Pittsburgh.
Her assignments included being director of Project Forward and director of financial aid at Seton Hill University in Greensburg. She spent 2000-03 in Kanjin, South Korea where she taught at St. Joseph High School for girls. From 2003-07, Aaron was manager at St. Justin Plaza, a residence for seniors in Pittsburgh.
Aaron currently ministers to under-served individuals and families with Rendu Services in Dunbar.
