Woman charged with stabbing another woman in the face
A Uniontown woman was charged for allegedly stabbing a woman in the face and a man in the shoulder.
Deshaunte Douglas, 28, allegedly got into an altercation with Tashia Kellam at WaltÄ¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Bar on Saturday night.
Kellam told police she was at the bar with her family when Douglas punched her in the face, according to the affidavit of probable cause.
The woman told police she had another altercation with Douglas in the parking lot of Pershing Court. She said she went into her home with three others when Douglas allegedly broke in, wielding a 4-inch steak knife.
Kellam alleged Douglas stabbed her in the right cheek. Douglas then allegedly stabbed Paris Lindsey in the shoulder when he forced her to the floor.
Both alleged victims were treated on the scene by Fayette EMS.
Douglas is charged with burglary and two counts each of aggravated assault, simple assault and reckless endangerment.
She is lodged in Fayette County Prison in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
Douglas pleaded guilty in December to aggravated assault and other charges for allegedly injuring Uniontown police officer Jamie Holland when he escorted her to a cell in October.
In 2012, Douglas was charged for allegedly kicking and punching three Uniontown officers. She accepted a plea deal and was sentenced to three two 23 months in prison and one year probation for two assault cases.
