A Monessen man waived attempted homicide and other charges Tuesday for allegedly stabbing a man in Pershing Court last month.

Irvin Kili Green Jr., 20, allegedly stabbed Avery Crenshaw in the face, lower back, thigh and arm with an eight-inch knife after chasing him around the complex, ordering him to take off his boots and empty his pockets.

Crenshaw was flown to a trauma center by a medical helicopter. Police said he lost a large amount of blood.

Green is charged with attempted homicide, theft, reckless endangerment, two counts of aggravated assault, five counts of robbery and three counts of simple assault.

He is lodged in Fayette County Prison in lieu of a $150,000 bond.
