St. Vincent de Paul fire ruled arson
A fire at St. Vincent de Paul was ruled arson and transferred to Uniontown city police for further investigation.
State police fire marshal Cpl. Thomas Maher investigated two fires in a string of recent suspicious fires in the city, including the fire at St. Vincent de Paul just before midnight May 23.
Maher investigated another suspicious fire at 211 Gallatin Ave. May 23, later ruling the vacant house fire an arson.
Fire marshals investigated four other suspicious fires on Murray, Madison and Lawn avenues. The final results of the investigation have not yet been determined.
