A Uniontown man was allegedly found walking into a bar with blood on his pants after a woman reported he assaulted her.

The woman told police Christopher Ervin Brewer, 35, pulled her out of her vehicle as she was driving on Austin Street at about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

She said two other people helped him assault her, but no others were identified in court documents.

The woman had swelling on her face and was bleeding from her eye, nose and mouth, police said. She was treated at Uniontown Hospital.

Uniontown police found Brewer walking into Esther’s Tavern and arrested him.

He is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.

Brewer was arraigned before on-call Magisterial District Judge Richard Kasunic II and lodged in Fayette County Prison in lieu of a $25,000 bond.
