Kidnap, rape of teen in Uniontown believed to be random
A woman from Uniontown who alleges she was raped, beaten and kidnapped believes she was a victim of a random act of violence.
Isiah Duwayne Colbert, 32, and Bobby Jo Mack, 31, both of Uniontown, were taken into custody at 2 p.m. Wednesday for the alleged attack.
The 19-year-old alleged victim told police she was at the Frick Tri-County Federal Credit Union on Pittsburgh Street using the ATM Saturday night when she was approached by the pair, who she did not know. She described her attackers to police as a black man and white woman.
The Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ does not identify those who allege they are victims of rape.
Colbert and Mack allegedly assaulted her at the ATM and forced her into their car. They allegedly forced her to withdraw money from multiple ATMs before taking her to a secluded area in North Union Township. There, they allegedly assaulted her brutally and raped her.
The pair allegedly left her lying in the woods with severe injuries. When she was able, police said, she walked to the nearest home along Coolspring-Jumonville Road between midnight and 2 a.m. Police said she told the residents there she had been raped, beaten and left in the woods.
She was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia.
The two were arrested by state police in coordination with the U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania fugitive task force.
