Attempted homicide charges were added against a man and woman in an alleged Feb. 27 attack that left a woman tied up in the woods in a pool of blood.

Isiah Duwayne Colbert, 32, and Bobbie Jo Mack, 31, both of Uniontown were charged with rape and kidnap after they allegedly targeted a 19-year-old woman who was withdrawing money from an ATM in the city.

The woman first encountered her alleged attackers at the Frick Tri-County Credit Union on Pittsburgh Street, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

The Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ does not identify those who allege they are victims of rape.

While she was at the ATM, a man later identified as Colbert allegedly approached her and punched her several times in the head. The woman told police she nearly lost consciousness.

He allegedly forced her to withdraw about $350, then forced her to make more withdrawals, which were denied.

The encounter was caught on surveillance footage at the credit union, according to the affidavit, which allegedly showed Colbert knock the woman to the ground and continue punching her. Mack was allegedly seen running up to the woman and picked up several items.

Mack and Colbert were allegedly at Club 231 in Uniontown at the same time as the victim, and followed her to the ATM, according to a club employee who watched the footage. Police said the employee identified the two.

The woman was allegedly forced into the car and driven to other ATMs in the city.

Colbert allegedly threatened to kill the 19-year-old and showed her something she believed was a small handgun.

The woman said the vehicle stopped, and she was pulled out of the vehicle and into the woods. She said Colbert hit her multiple times in the face with the handgun.

The alleged victim said Colbert ripped her clothes off, threw her belongings in the woods and raped her. She told police she was tied up and left in the woods. She allegedly played dead, lying in the gravel road because she feared for her life, according to the affidavit.

The woman told police Mack was in the car with Colbert and nearby during the alleged rape.

She told police the two left and she untied herself, found her clothes and went for help at a nearby house off of Coolspring-Jumonville Road.

She was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia.

Police allegedly found her belongings scattered near a pool of blood on a gravel driveway.

Both Colbert and Mack were scheduled for preliminary hearings Monday morning, but their hearings were continued after their charges were amended.

They are charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, rape, criminal conspiracy, sexual assault, unlawful restraint, theft, simple assault and two counts each of robbery and kidnap.

Both are lodged in Fayette County Prison on $300,000 bonds.
