Fire crews were dispatched just before midnight to the fifth suspicious fire in Uniontown in four days, officials said.

The fifth fire was ignited at about 11:50 p.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul on North Mount Vernon Avenue, according to Uniontown City firefighter Michael Smithburger.

He said a state police fire marshal will determine the cause of that fire and the four others.

No injuries were reported from MondayÄ¢¹½ÊÓƵ fire. He said the exterior of the building, items outside and the roof assembly were damaged, in addition to internal smoke damage.

Vacant residences on Murray, Madison and Gallatin avenues also caught fire this week. Each of those buildings have caught fire multiple times in the past in suspected arson cases, Smithburger said.

A vehicle fire on Lawn Avenue was also ruled suspicious.
