A warrant was issued for a Waynesburg man who allegedly assaulted his pregnant girlfriend in Masontown Friday.

Roger Matthew Eddy, 29, allegedly pulled Natasha Peters from the driver’s seat of a vehicle on Woodlawn Avenue and punched her repeatedly, according to police.

Peters told police she is 16-weeks pregnant.

She escaped and ran to the nearby Veterans of Foreign Wars post for help. She told police Eddy chased her and said “Don’t you dare call the cops,” according to the affidavit of probable cause filed in his case.

When she arrived at the post and hit the buzzer, she said Eddy left and fled in his silver Volkswagon.

Earlier in the day, she said Eddy threatened to “kill her in front of the kids,” according to the affidavit.

Peters discovered her iPhone, $200 and house keys were missing from her vehicle after the alleged assault.

Paramedics examined Peters, who reported cramping and pain. She was transported to the hospital for further treatment.

Eddy is charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, simple assault and two counts of theft.
