New details released in Connellsville shooting

A fight that led to a shooting in Connellsville early Saturday began when a group of uninvited guests arrived at a party, according to Connellsville police.

Robert Allen Harris II, 24, of Uniontown was shot multiple times in the 100 block of Snyder Street at about 2:30 a.m. He was found lying on the sidewalk and flown to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, according to police. Harris is expected to recover.

Police said a group arrived at the party on Snyder Street and were asked to leave. A fight broke out behind the residence, and multiple shots were fired. A suspect has not yet been identified, police said.
