The third suspect in a Union Township home invasion last week was arraigned late Monday, after being released from the hospital.

Police said Shane Patrick Kelly, 22, of Finleyville was assaulted by his two alleged co-conspirators in the April 12 robbery. He was hospitalized with wounds to his head and a broken hand after being hit by the gun by Carter Scott Williams, 20, of Bentleyville, police alleged.

Then, police said, Kelly was thrown out of a getaway car driven by Andrew Pro, 29, of South Park.

Kelly was brought before Washington County Magisterial District Judge Ethan T. Ward at 8:45 p.m., according to court records. Ward set KellyÄ¢¹½ÊÓƵ bond at $50,000 on charges of burglary, robbery, conspiracy to commit burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was unable to post bond and was committed to the Washington County Prison.

Last week, Monongahela police charged Williams and Kelly with breaking into the Union Township home of Jon Waltrowski and stealing a $160 pair of Air Jordan 5 tennis shoes at gunpoint.

Police said Kelly also stole a yellow smoking pipe.

Pro did not go into the home, but police charged him with conspiracy to commit burglary, alleging he drove Kelly and Williams to and from the residence.

Pro and Williams each face aggravated assault and simple assault charges for the alleged assault on Kelly. Williams faces additional charges of robbery, burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary and simple assault associated with the alleged break-in.

Pro and Williams remain in the county lockup in lieu of $125,000 bond. All three men have preliminary hearings scheduled for May 2.
