Gina Watts Applause
Gina Watts, a Uniontown native now living in Columbus, Ohio, was recently honored as the inaugural recipient of the John Maxwell Team Culture Award. The John Maxwell Team is an international organization of more than 14,000 members who live and/or serve in 145 countries.
Watts was nominated by fellow team members as a Catalyst for Transformation. She was selected as the overall winner and recognized for her commitment at the opening ceremony of the International Maxwell Certification for her commitment to each of the 10 principles. They include Modeling the Way, Adding Value to People, Exceeding Expectations, Willfully Growing, Equipping Others, Living Intentionally, Leading and Lifting Up Others, Daily Transforming Lives, Nourishing Entrepreneurs, and Allowing Room for Faith.
In 2013, Watts joined the John Maxwell Team in response to her desire to grow as a leader in her job. Since then, she has been often called upon to mentor fellow team members throughout the world and to lead the Global Youth Initiative. Prior to joining the Vineyard Community Center team, Watts developed a youth leadership curriculum with evangelist and best-selling author Nick Vujicic.
