Emily LaCarte Applause
The Charthene Club recently honored Emily LaCarte as its November girl of the month.
A senior at Charleroi Area High School, LaCarte is a highest honor student and has been inducted into the National Honor Society.
She serves as vice president of the Class Executive Club and is the school board student representative for student council. LaCarte is involved in Students Against Destructive Decisions, Peer Jury, foreign language club, symphonic band and is drumline captain for the marching band. She was chosen for the 2017 homecoming court and the February Rotary student of the month.
LaCarte has volunteered at blood drives, clean-up days, the American Cancer Society蘑菇视频 Relay for Life, American Heart Association蘑菇视频 Heart Walk, coat drives, toy drives, Day of Ope, Joe Perotta Pinto Tournament and as a ski coach for Special Olympics.
She is employed by Model Cleaners of Charleroi.
LaCarte plans to attend Penn State University to major in business and aspires to be a member of the Penn State University Blue Band.
