Connellsville police investigating rash of vandalism

Seven reports of vandalism were made to Connellsville police overnight between Wednesday and Thursday, including damaged businesses and vehicles.

Connellsville police said the windows were shot out at South Side Grocer at 704 South Pittsburgh Street and Donna J. Evans Realty at 139 West Crawford Ave., about half a mile away. Five people reported the windows on their vehicles were shot out, according to Captain Jacen Huss.

He said police believe all the incidents were related.

The vandalism was concentrated on the south side and north end of the city, he said.

Police are looking for a blue car with gray molding that may be a Pontiac Vibe.
