A Perryopolis man is in jail after he allegedly assaulted troopers who were trying to arrest him after he reportedly attacked four people in his home Saturday afternoon.

Donald Ray Lint Jr., 44, of 482 Cemetery Road is charged with two counts of aggravated assault, three counts of simple assault and one count each of resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

Lint allegedly bit his girlfriend, Patricia Provance, in the face Saturday morning, hit her in the tailbone with a broomstick and pulled her hair.

State police said she had a bite mark on her face. He also allegedly hit his son, Dylan Lint, with a broomstick, grabbed family friend Sierra Burton by the hair and pushed family friend Ashlie Topaz off the porch, according to paperwork filed in his case.

Lint attempted to run from officers at about 2:30 p.m., police said.

He allegedly kicked at and spit on troopers, who attempted to use a Taser on him unsuccessfully. A trooper hit Lint, and Lint allegedly bit the trooper’s finger.

Lint eventually complied, police said. The trooper and Lint were taken to Uniontown Hospital for treatment of injuries suffered in the fight.

Another trooper had a small scrape on his knee from being kicked, police said.

Lint was released from the hospital and arraigned at 11:15 p.m. by on-call Magisterial District Judge Mike Defino Jr., who set bond at $20,000.

Lint remains in the Fayette County lock-up.
