The body of a man in his early 40s was discovered in a Uniontown creek Thursday afternoon.

The name of the man has not yet been released.

Officials said foul play is not suspected, but an autopsy Friday will make the final determination, according to Fayette County Coroner deputy scene specialist John Kondrla. The man was pronounced dead at 1:40 p.m.

Uniontown police said a passerby on the nearby trail spotted the body in Coal Lick Run. It appeared the man had died about two days ago, they said.
