A warrant was issued for a Uniontown woman who allegedly ran down her neighbor with a car in Pershing Court Thursday afternoon.

Shirale Harris, 21, is facing attempted homicide and related charges in the case.

The alleged victim, Margrett Mitchell, told police she was walking home from her daughter’s house with Trevor Borum at about 2:30 p.m. when she saw Harris in a white Chevrolet Sonic. She told police Harris said, “Watch Imma hit this (expletive)” to which Mitchell replied “Do it. I’m not in this,” according to the affidavit of probable cause filed in her case.

Mitchell told Uniontown police Harris drove toward her, hitting her with the front bumper and causing her to roll onto the hood and then hit the driver’s side window. She said her face hit the driver’s side mirror, and she fell to the ground, according to the affidavit.

Mitchell said Harris stopped and backed up, attempting to hit her a second time. Borum told police he feared for his life, according to court documents.

A witness told police she saw the incident from her window.

Police said Mitchell suffered injuries to her right knee, left arm and face.

She was transported to Uniontown Hospital by Fayette EMS.

Harris is also charged with four counts of aggravated assault, two counts each of simple assault and recklessly endangering another person and one count of accidents involving death or personal injury.
