Police from Brownsville and German Township find shell casings after shots were fired on Monday afternoon in South Hills Terrace in Brownsville. Bullets were shot through a window into Apartment 55, where a woman and young boy were asleep, and through the front door of Apartment 46. A woman who resides at the apartment complex, who declined to give her name, had a message for the shooters: “ThatĢƵ your mother, thatĢƵ your sister, thatĢƵ your brother, thatĢƵ what you should be thinking about.”

A bullet tore through the screen and window in the front room of an apartment at South Hills Terrace in Brownsville. A woman and young boy were asleep inside when bullets were shot into into the residence as well as another apartment across the street. A woman who lives at the apartment complex, who declined to give her name, had a message for the shooters: “ThatĢƵ your mother, thatĢƵ your sister, thatĢƵ your brother, thatĢƵ what you should be thinking about.”

Brownsville police are working to identify suspects after a shot went through a window at South Hills Terrace Monday afternoon.

No injuries were reported, said Brownsville police Chief Stan Jablonsky. No other damage was reported.

The shot was fired at about 1:45 p.m., officials said.

The Brownsville Area School District was put on a brief lockdown while state police cleared the area, according to Superintendent Dr. Phil Savini.

He said state police cleared the scene at 3 p.m. and students were dismissed.

No arrests were made as of 4 p.m., police said.
