A man who is being treated for cancer was robbed of medication in his home by two men, one of whom held a knife to his throat, police said.

Uniontown police are investigating the robbery, which they said occurred on a Titus Street residence Thursday.

The alleged victim, Dale Cianflone, told police two black men knocked on his door. He said he let them in when one of them accused him of using a racial slur against his friend.

He said one of the men, who he described as heavyset, pushed him onto the couch and held a knife to his throat while the other man went through his cancer medication. He said oxycodone, morphine, Xanax and $40 was stolen.

Cianflone told police one of the men dropped the knife on the floor before fleeing on foot. Police found a folding knife on the scene.

He was transported to Uniontown Hospital by Fayette EMS.

He said the heavyset man was wearing dark clothing and black shoes. The second man was thin and wearing a blue vest, according to police.

Police said there had been no suspects identified in the robbery Tuesday afternoon.
