Two males were found dead inside a Uniontown house near Lafayette School Wednesday afternoon, officials said.

A Fayette County 911 supervisor said they received a call at 1:34 p.m. saying two males were dead inside the house at 23 John St.

Investigators said there were no apparent signs of trauma. They did not immediately release any additional information on the deceased males or the circumstances surrounding the call.

Officials were seen putting on protective gear before entering the residence.

A neighbor, who asked not to be identified, said her neighbors were always kind to her. She said she would often see people coming and going from the house.

“I need to feel safe here. I just want everyone in the community to be safe. But we can’t have that,” she said.

Fayette County District Attorney Rich Bower and other members of his office, the Fayette County Coroner, Uniontown City Police Department and Fayette EMS were among those who responded to the scene.
