A armed robbery suspect accused of robbing BFS Foods with a knife last week was arrested Monday after she allegedly committed a second robbery at Vinny’s Pizzeria in South Union Township Monday.

Kiamesha Narvis Dean, 32, of Confer Vista Drive in Uniontown is facing multiple charges in two cases.

State police said Dean arrived at the pizzeria at about 3:30 p.m. and asked what drinks they served. The cashier said the woman was “acting odd” and said “I need to think” several times. When a delivery person left, she allegedly brandished a knife and demanded all the money from the register. The cashier fled out a back door, according to court documents.

Surveillance footage captured the altercation, and a friend identified Dean in the image, state police said.

At about 5 p.m. June 11, Dean allegedly robbed BFS Foods on Morgantown Street of cash and 21 packs of cigarettes. Uniontown police said she was armed with a knife and fled.

“Before she left, she said ‘I’m sorry, keep the change,” said Uniontown City Police Lt. Tom Kolencik.

Dean is charged with robbery, criminal attempt to commit theft, terroristic threats and simple assault in the pizzeria robbery.

She is facing charges of robbery, theft, receiving stolen property terroristic threats, possession of an instrument of crime with intent and two counts of simple assault in the BFS Foods robbery.

Dean was arraigned Monday night before Magisterial District Judge Jennifer Jeffries, who set bail at $15,000 in each case. She is lodged in Fayette County Prison in lieu of a $30,000 bond.
