Police: Fleeing, intoxicated woman claimed to be Hillary Clinton
A reportedly intoxicated woman who allegedly fled a traffic stop beginning in Garrett County, Maryland identified herself as Hillary Clinton multiple times, police said.
Holly Lynn Donahoo, 36, of Louisville, Kentucky, was arrested by Pennsylvania State Police in Wharton Township early Tuesday.
Maryland State Police and the Garrett County SheriffÄ¢¹½ÊÓÆµ office began pursuing DonahooÄ¢¹½ÊÓÆµ gold Ford Five Hundred for suspicion of an intoxicated driver at about 12:50 a.m. Tuesday. The chase continued onto U.S. 40 (National Pike) in Fayette County, where local state police were called to assist. They put spike strips on the roadway at the U.S. 40Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ intersection with Guerriere Road. Her front tire hit the strips, and her vehicle came to a stop, police said.
Donahoo allegedly refused to exit the vehicle, and police physically removed her before arresting her. There were multiple open alcohol containers in the back seat, police said.
Police said she refused chemical testing at Uniontown Hospital, where she repeatedly identified herself as Hillary Clinton.
She is charged with fleeing or attempting to elude officers, driving under the influence, recklessly endangering another person, resisting arrest, false identification to law enforcement, disorderly conduct and 16 traffic violations. Police said her Kentucky driverÄ¢¹½ÊÓÆµ license is suspended for driving under the influence.
Donahoo is lodged in Fayette County Prison in lieu of a $30,000 bond.
