Police: Man attacked with a beer bottle in Brownsville
State police said a Uniontown man assaulted his friend with a beer bottle in Brownsville early Wednesday.
Mark Anthony McCoy, 32, of Uniontown is charged with aggravated assault and simple assault. Police issued a warrant for his arrest.
The alleged victim, Ronnie Durant, told police they were at his residence “hanging out” around 6 a.m. when McCoy “got angry for no apparent reason” and hit him in the head with a beer bottle, causing a large gash, according to court documents.
Police searched the area and were not immediately able to located McCoy.
