One person was flown by medical helicopter to a nearby hospital after a head-on collision in Wharton Township Saturday evening.聽
The crash occurred around 7:42 p.m. on National Pike in Wharton Township, directly in front of the Sunoco Gas Station.
Ohiopyle Fire Department, as well as Farmington, Markleysburg Henry-Clay, and Hopwood volunteer fire departments assisted at the scene.
State police are investigating the accident. No further information has been released at this time.
