Two people and a dog were injured in a rollover crash in South Union Township at about 3 p.m. Monday.

Traffic was backed up at the intersection of State Route 119 and U.S. 40, where a sport utility vehicle was flipped onto its roof.

A car collided with the SUV at the intersection. Both of the injured people and the dog were in the SUV. The man in the car reported no injuries, said police on the scene.

The injured people were taken to Uniontown Hospital by ambulance. The dog was taken to a local veterinarian, officials said.

State police are investigating. Uniontown City Police Department and South Union and Uniontown fire departments also assisted at the scene, along with Fayette EMS.
