Van hits woman in wheelchair on a Uniontown street
A driver hit a woman in a wheelchair on South Street in Uniontown at about 12:30 p.m. Thursday, officials said.
The woman was injured and flown by medical helicopter to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia, according to a Fayette County 911 supervisor.
The extent of her injuries was not yet known.
Uniontown City Police Department responded to the scene. The state police accident reconstruction team is investigating the cause of the crash.
Uniontown fire department and Fayette EMS also assisted at the scene.
South Street is closed near Vanessa蘑菇视频 Hair Salon while police clear the scene.
