State police investigating rash of thefts from vehicles in Mount Pleasant
State police are working to identify suspects in a rash of thefts from unlocked vehicles in Mount Pleasant between Monday night and Tuesday morning.
The stolen items include electronics and a revolver. The total value of items reported stolen is about $2,150.
Patrick L. Halfhill, 53, of Mount Pleasant reported to police his Smith & Wesson .38 Special revolver was stolen from his vehicle parked at 579 Ridgeview Road between 9 p.m. Monday and 11 a.m. Tuesday.
A suspect stole about $1,400 worth of belongings from 115 Camilla Drive between 9:30 p.m. Monday and 4:30 a.m. Tuesday belonging to Michael T. Lint, 44, of Mount Pleasant and Katlyn D. Hernley, 19, of Snowshoe. They items reported stolen include a Cobra CB radio, a Primos Game Call, Oakley sunglasses, a fishing tackle bag with lures and two fishing poles, and prescription Coach sunglasses.
Chad Eisman, 39, of Mount Pleasant reported someone stole his white iPod and Maglite flashlight between 11 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. from 128 Jeffrey Drive.
At 131 Jeffrey Drive, Kenneth Shea, 59, of Mount Pleasant told state police someone stole his Beats by Dre headphones from his vehicle within the same time period.
