Masontown couple charged with sexual assault of 5-year-old girl
A Masontown couple is behind bars for allegedly sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl and showing her pornography, according to court documents.
Jessica Marie Archer, 28, and Antonio D. Archer, 29, of 101 E. Harvey Ave. were charged Friday by Masontown Police Department after investigators conducted a forensic interview with the girl in April.

During that interview, the girl told investigators Antonio Archer “did nasty stuff” to her, forcing sex acts on her and hurting her. Jessica Archer allegedly asked the girl to touch her genitals. The girl told police she saw a movie where adults did not have clothes on, according to the affidavit of probable cause filed in her case.
Jessica and Antonio Archer are charged with indecent assault of a person less than 13, corruption of minors and endangering the welfare of children. Antonio Archer is facing additional charges of statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, aggravated indecent assault of a child and sexual assault.
They were both arraigned Friday before Magisterial District Judge Nathan A. Henning and lodged in Fayette County Prison. The woman’s bail was set at $50,000, and the man’s bail was set at $250,000. Preliminary hearings are tentatively scheduled for 1 p.m. before Henning.
