Elizabeth man killed in West Newton crash

An Elizabeth man died in a Monday night crash at the interchange of Mount Pleasant Road and Interstate 70.

State police identified the man as Ronald C. Zubasic, 57, and said the crash occurred in West Newton, Westmoreland County.

Police did not detail what occurred during the 10 p.m. crash, but said the matter remains under investigation.
