Marissa Filby Applause
The Charthene Club recently honored Marissa Filby as its January girl of the month.
Filby is a senior at Charleroi Area High School and an honor student.
She participates in Bots IQ where she is team manager and a captain of documentation. She belongs to the drama club, Skills USA, Monongahela Historical Society and Centerville American Legion Auxiliary Unit 705.
Filby has received many awards in horseback riding and is a past officer in 4-H.
She is active in her community, participating in Day of Hope, Harvest Bounty, the American Cancer Society蘑菇视频 Relay for Life, 4-H Dairy Bar and the Mon Valley CTC for Show.
Filby plans to attend Penn State University or Washington and Jefferson College to pursue a career as a forensic pathologist.
