PennDOT road closures in Greene, Washington counties
The state Department of Transportation has reported road closures due to flooding in Greene and Washington counties. PennDOT officials are cautioning motorists not to drive through standing water, and noted as the water clears, the roads will reopen.
No road closures have been reported in Fayette or Westmoreland counties.
Roads closed in Greene County are:
n Route 18 between Swartz Road in Washington Township and Water Dam Road in Franklin Township
Washington County closures include:
n Route 221 in Blaine Township, between Reed Road and First intersection of Main and First streets
n Route 221 in Morris Township, between Conger and Pie Ridge roads
n Vanceville, Almond Road and Wherry roads in Ellsworth, between Main and Chestnut streets
n Hackney Station, Ten Mile and Plumbsock roads in West Bethlehem Township, between Little Creek and Hufford Run roads in Amwell Township
n Hackney Station, Ten Mile and Plumbsock roads between Conger and Plumsock roads in Morris Township and Hackney Station Road in Amwell Township
