A Uniontown man is facing charges for allegedly raping a boy multiple times in 2015 and forcing sex acts on him.

Jamelle Miguel Fairfax, 30, of Searights Avenue is charged with statutory sexual assault and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse.

The Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ does not identify those who allege they are victims of sexual assault.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, the boy, who was 15 at the time of the alleged assaults, told police Fairfax raped him two or three times and forced sex acts on him four or five times between May and June 2015 at Fairfax’s former North Union Township home.

The boy said Fairfax would “approach him and make him feel loved,” “taking advantage of his vulnerable state due to being depressed after the death of his parents,” Trooper Anthony Sayles wrote in court paperwork. Fairfax allegedly would become rude and prevent the boy from getting a drink when he was thirsty unless he performed sex acts.

He also allegedly purchased a Nokia cellphone for the boy for the sexual acts, court documents said.

Fairfax reportedly denied the crimes, claiming the boy said he was attracted to him and further claiming he awoke several times to the boy performing sex acts on him.

Fairfax is awaiting his preliminary arraignment in the case. Charges were filed Monday before Magisterial District Judge Nathan A. Henning.
