A warrant was issued for a Brownsville man for allegedly operating a methamphetamine lab.

Joshua William Hale, 40, of Telegraph Road reportedly sold methamphetamine to a confidential informant for $100. Police found the meth lab in a coffee can in a Brownsville home, according to court paperwork.

Hale allegedly fled police during the investigation.

During an interview with Hale, he reportedly admitted the meth lab was his and wrote down items he uses to make it.

He is charged with possessing a precursor substance, operating a meth lab, deposit chemical waste, risking catastrophe, possession of a controlled substance, recklessly endangering another person, fleeing or attempting to elude officers, two counts of possession with intent to deliver and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Charges were filed Friday before Magisterial District Judge Mike Defino Jr. The investigation was completed by the Fayette County Bureau of Investigations and Redstone Township Police.
