A 59-year-old woman is behind bars, accused of stabbing her estranged husband in the thigh and threatening to slit his throat Friday evening, according to state police.

Donna Patricia Schrock of South Prospect Street in Connellsville is charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person at 286 Little Summit Road in Dunbar Township.

According to the affidavit of probable cause filed in her case, Schrock arrived unwanted at the house of her estranged husband, Robert Schrock, who allowed her to come in and have a drink. They drank for several hours. He told police he was laying on the couch when she began accusing him of sleeping with her mother and sister.

She allegedly took a 14-inch knife from the kitchen and called him a “no good son of a (expletive)” before stabbing him in the right thigh. She then allegedly stood over him and threatened to slice his throat, then washed the blade and continued arguing with him from the kitchen table. He called his cousin, who called state police at about 9:30 p.m.

No further information was released on his condition.

She was arraigned Saturday morning before on-call Magisterial District Judge Daniel C. Shimshock, who set bail at $50,000 in her case. She remains in Fayette County Prison in lieu of bond.

Her preliminary hearing is tentatively scheduled for 1:30 p.m. March 14.
