A couple is facing charges after a woman allegedly stabbed a man in Bullskin Township.

Ashley Amanda Lomax, 29, of Donora reportedly stabbed Robert Jay Yourish at 2131 Rocky Ridge Road on April 22. She was arrested on a warrant Friday.

State police interviewed her boyfriend, Trey Zachery Holmes, 22, of Monessen, who allegedly refused to give officers any information on Lomax.

Yourish told police during an interview at Frick Hospital in Mount Pleasant the woman, who he did not know, attacked him at his home. The injury required four stitches to his left hand and pinky finger, according to police.

Investigators learned Lomax was the alleged assailant, and that she fled the scene in a 2001 Volkswagen Passat belonging to Holmes’ sister. She also allegedly caused extensive damage in the house.

She is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

Holmes is charged with hindering apprehension. A warrant was issued for his arrest last week.

Lomax has faced a rash of charges in recent years in Washington and Fayette counties: DUI, simple assault and accidents involving death or personal injury, according to court documents.

Her bail, which was initially set at $25,000, was changed to unsecured Monday after she was remanded to Washington County for a detainer, court paperwork said. She posted a bond signature in the case.
